This memorandum serves as an official notification that all Navajo Nation Executive Branch employees, permanent and temporary, are granted Two (2) Hour of Administrative Leave from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, due to the current inclement weather conditions.

Due to the inclement weather conditions, employees will be released two hours early to help ensure they are able to travel safely back home. Please exercise caution while traveling and allow additional time as needed due to the weather and road conditions.

As you know, the Navajo Nation Council requires certain documents be reviewed by several 
offices before the President can sign them. This requirement is found in section 164 of Title 2. 
Pursuant to his authority, President Nygren issued Executive Order No. 06-2023 after the 25th
Navajo Nation Council adopted Resolution CJY-61-23 updating 2 N.N.C. section 164. 

The next Professional Leadership Development (PLD) Training will be on October 28, 2026.
