Navajo Nation Department of Personnel Management

The Department of Personnel Management (DPM) and the Office of the Controller’s Payroll Department provide this memorandum as an official update regarding Dayforce, current payroll processing, and required employee actions. Dayforce remains active for Time and Attendance, and employees must continue to clock in, clock out, and submit leave requests once balances are accurately loaded, while supervisors review and approve time in Dayforce for reporting to Payroll as we prepare to reintroduce payroll functions in Dayforce.

Payroll processing is currently being completed in JD Edwards during stabilization efforts. Departments are encouraged to submit Step Increase Recommendation Forms to DPM promptly, and Payroll requests all departments submit a paper timesheet for PPE December 26, 2025, with approved back pay forms for any employee who was underpaid or not paid. DPM is also finalizing leave balance corrections and requests employees update their tax, address, contact, direct deposit, and benefits information in Dayforce; additional training will be scheduled and ERP resources are available on the DPM ERP webpage.

Please see the attached memorandum for the full statement and detailed instructions. Have a great week!
