Temporary Office Closure Notice - Navajo AML Reclamation Department

Navajo AML Reclamation Department

Please be advised that the Navajo Abandoned Mine Lands (AML) Reclamation Department offices located at:

  • Window Rock, Arizona
  • Tuba City, Arizona

will be temporarily closed from Monday, April 27 through Friday, May 1, 2026.

This temporary closure is due to staff attendance and participation in the following official meetings and events:

  •         U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Tri-Annual Meeting – Grand Junction, Colorado
  •         Division of Natural Resources (DNR) 2026 Expo – Twin Arrows Navajo Casino Resort
  •         16 Annual Tribal GIS Conference – Albuquerque, New Mexico

Regular business operations will resume on Monday, May 4, 2026.

During this period, the Shiprock AML Office, located in Shiprock, New Mexico, will remain open and available to assist with any inquiries or urgent matters.
