The Department of Information Technology (DIT) is implementing enhanced account lifecycle management procedure to reduce cybersecurity risk, protect Navajo Nation information systems, and ensure the efficient use and availability of software licenses. Inactive Email accounts present an elevated security risk and increase exposure to unauthorized access.

Therefore, Accounts that have not been accessed for three (3) months or more may be disabled. Employees must sign in to their Navajo Nation account to confirm active use and prevent deactivation.  

 The Department of Information Technology would like to provide clarification regarding the Outlook Notes feature in the new version of Outlook. Employees have reported that their Notes are no longer visible when using the New Outlook. 

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System – Chart of Accounts Restructuring Updates Join us for a session on updates presented by Controller Sean McCabe on the changes and benefits of the Chart of Accounts restructuring.

Two sessions will be held Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

 This memorandum is to inform all Navajo Nation Divisions, Departments, Programs and Customers that the Office of Hearing and Appeals will be closed from Wednesday, March 4, 2026 to Friday, March 6, 2026. Office will resume Monday, March 9, 2026. Office of Hearings and Appeals will be attending work session with the Navajo Nation Election Administration at Twin Arrows, Flagstaff, AZ.

The Office of the Controller will retire the UPK Knowledge Center training module as the Navajo Nation transitions to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&SCM) ERP.
