This memorandum serves as an official notification that all Navajo Nation Executive Branch employees, permanent and temporary, are granted eight (8) hours of Administrative Leave from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Friday, March 13, 2026.

This memorandum is to inform all Navajo Nation Divisions, Departments, Programs, and Customers that the Navajo Nation Department of Retirement Services will be closed on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and will re-open at 1:00 pm.

 This memorandum is to inform all Navajo Nation Divisions, Departments, Programs and Customers that the Office of Hearings and Appeals will be closed from Wednesday, March 11, 2026 to Friday, March 13, 2026. Office will resume Monday, March 16, 2026 at 8:00 am.

This is a request that you SAVE THE DATE of June 15-18, 2026 for the Navajo Research Conference currently being planned to take place at the Dine’ College Tsaile Campus, convened by the Navajo Nation Human Research Review Board, and organized by the Navajo Department of Health, the Navajo NARCH Partnership of Diné College and Northern Arizona University, with additional support from the Johns Hopkins University Center for Indigenous Health and the Brigham & Women’s Hospital.
