112th Northern Navajo Nation Fair - Shiprock, NM

Shiprock Fleet Management will be open during normal business hours and extend our hours on the following days during the 112th Northern Navajo Nation Fair.

Saturday, October 04, 2025        1:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Shiprock Fleet Management will attend to MINOR repairs and wrecker/road services only.  All Department and Programs are to ensure all PM-Services are completed by your respective Fleet Service Center before commencing travel.  All Department and Programs need to confirm that vehicle and personal HID cards are active prior to travel. Use of Wright Express commercial fuel card in the local area is not permitted.

For after hour roadside assistance that involves towing, contact Shiprock Police Department at (505) 368-1350/1351.  Shiprock Service Center will have personnel on stand –by.

2025 Annual Open Enrollment - October 1, 2025, through November 30, 2025

The Navajo Nation Employee Benefit Program’s Annual Open Enrollment period begins in October and continues through November for election of dependent health and life insurance. Regular status employees may take this opportunity to submit an enrollment application to add eligible dependents to their insurance coverage who may not have been added within 31 days from the date they initially became eligible.

The Navajo Disability Awareness Conference will be held October 29, 2025 at High Country Conference Center in Flagstaff, AZ. This conference will provide information and workshops for people with disabilities and for people who work with individuals with disabilities on the Navajo Nation. 

The conference will also allow the opportunity for families to learn about early childhood programs and resources that are available in the area.

Upcoming Microsoft MFA Changes - Action Required Beginning Monday, September 29, 2025

This memo serves as official notification that, beginning Monday, September 29, 2025, all (navajo-nsn.gov account holders will be prompted to verify their sign-in using multi-factor authentication (MFA) when accessing Microsoft 365 or other Navajo Nation work application.
Moving forward, all @navajo-nsn.gov users will standardize on either the Microsoft Authenticator app or the Cisco Duo Authenticator app for MFA.
Microsoft will retire its older MFA and self-service password reset (SSPR) settings on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. These legacy settings are being replaced by a new unified security system that enhances account protection and simplify management.

FMD ANNUAL WINTERIZATION SCHEDULE

This memorandum is to inform all Navajo Nation Divisions, Departments, and Programs that our annual "Winterization" of all facilities on our current maintenance listing is scheduled to commence on Monday, September 22, 2025. This process will include deactivating all cooling units and restoring all heating units to operational use.
