DAYFORCE PAYROLL UPDATE

The attached Department of Personnel Management (DPM) memorandum provides important information regarding payroll processing for the pay period ending December 26, 2025. It explains identified payroll discrepancies affecting a limited number of employees, including overpayments and underpayments related to non-tax deductions and time adjustments. The memorandum also outlines corrective actions being taken, including an additional payroll run scheduled for January 6, 2026, instructions for employee housing payments, and forthcoming adjustments to loans and other non-tax deductions. DAYFORCE - ADDRESSING EMPLOYEE CONCERNS

This announcement serves to inform all Navajo Nation Executive and Legislative Branch employees that the Dayforce system has officially rolled out and is currently operational. While minor system adjustments are actively being addressed, payroll for the period ending December 26, 2025 will be processed as scheduled, and all timekeeping and payroll activities will continue to be conducted exclusively in Dayforce. Employees and supervisors are reminded that timesheets must be completed and approved no later than Monday, December 29, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. (noon) to ensure timely payroll processing. Additional details and guidance are provided in the attached memorandum, which can be viewed for further information.

This supervisor-only webinar provides step-by-step guidance on reviewing and resolving employee timesheets in the Dayforce system. Supervisor's will learn how to correct missing time entries, adjust overtime, enter administrative leave, and address common timesheet issues to ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance.

The memorandum will serve as notice that Crownpoint DALTCS Office will have be closed on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. The Agency staff and 17 Senior Center Staff will be attending All Staff Christmas Luncheon at Smith Lake Senior Center.

Implementation of Dayforce ERP System - Discontinue use of Personnel Action Form (PAF)

This memorandum is to inform all Navajo Nation departments and programs that the Department of Personnel Management (DPM) will no longer be accepting Personnel Action Forms (PAF) effective immediately.


As all departments and programs are aware of the new Dayforce System going live and beginning the implementation process, this includes the transition of departments/programs to begin submitting personnel actions directly within the new system. As part of this transition, PAFs will be discontinued and are no longer required for New Hires, Change Notices or Termination actions.

Federal Funding Update Meeting hosted by DODE

The Navajo Nation Department of Diné Education will host a Federal Funding Update convening on Thursday, October 30, at the DODE Auditorium in Window Rock from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. This meeting will bring national and local Native education leaders and advocates to discuss the impacts of the ongoing federal government shutdown and budget negotiations regarding education funding for tribally controlled schools, tribal colleges, public schools, and other federally funded programs, including the implications and the need to organize a plan of action.
