WINDOW ROCK, Ariz. – On Tuesday, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. announced that Chief of Staff Clayton W. Fulton will be delegated with the authority of the Indian Health Service (IHS) director position. Navajo Nation leaders welcomed the announcement and expressed appreciation for the decision, noting that strong and stable federal leadership is essential for improving health outcomes across Native communities.

As we prepare to Go-Live on December 13, 2025, the Navajo Nation Department of Personnel Management (DPM) will be hosting several online training webinars to help all employees become familiar with the new Dayforce system, which will manage HR, payroll, timekeeping, and employee self-service functions. Every Navajo Nation employee will have an “Employee Role” in Dayforce, while Supervisors and Managers will also hold a “Supervisory Role” with added responsibilities. These trainings are vital to ensure everyone is ready for this historic transition.

Please allow this memorandum to serve as notification that the Department of Personnel Management will be closed from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm on Friday, December 12, 2025. The DPM team will be celebrating Christmas during that time. DPM will resume normal business hours on Monday, December 15th.

Effective today, December 3, 2025, the Office of the Controller (OOC) is in the process of migrating all OOC users and group email address to the DIT domain email address. Domain nnooc.org will become obsolete, do not use the "nnooc.org" group email addresses it will not be delivered. Changes are required in preparation of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) ARTIC IT, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Financial and Supply Chain Management (F&SCM) go-live Wednesday, December 17, 2025.
