The Navajo Division of Behavioral & Mental Health Services invites you and your family to Operation Veterans Wellness at the Gallup Sports Complex in Gallup, New Mexico on Friday, July 17, 2026.

This free in-person event will include a morning fun run/walk, wellness presentations, gourd dance, youth activities, and information booths with mental health resources - all designed with our veterans in mind.

This is a day to honor their service, support their healing, and bring our community together around those who gave so much.

This message serves as an official public notice that Little Colorado River Tribal Park is temporarily closed due to ongoing excessive heat conditions impacting the region. The safety of visitors, local community members, and staff remains our highest priority.

During this closure period, no hiking permits will be issued. This includes all access permits for Salt Trail, Little Colorado River Overlook, and any related hiking areas within the Little Colorado River Tribal Park boundary. Permit distribution will remain suspended until further notice and will resume once conditions have improved and it is safe to reopen the area.

We kindly ask for your assistance in informing community members, visitors, and any relevant partners about this temporary closure and the suspended permit process.

This memorandum serves to inform you that the Kayenta Judicial District Court will be hosting mobile court services on Friday, July 31, 2026, at the following locations and times: 

• Navajo Mountain, Utah 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Inscription House, Arizona 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM
